The Flourishing and Inclusive Health Research (FAIR) lab is an epidemiology research group based at the University of Calgary. The FAIR Lab is directed by Dr. Zahra Clayborne (she/her), an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Community Health Sciences and Pediatrics at the Cumming School of Medicine. Our program of research utilizes methods in psychiatric, social, and positive epidemiology to better understand the risk and promotive factors towards flourishing, positive mental health, well-being and resiliency throughout the life course. Our research aims to prioritize the study of developing populations, and the inclusion of historically underrepresented voices in psychiatric and public health research to better promote the health and well-being of individuals from all walks of life.
